Role Description The Senior Design Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves leading architectural design concepts from initial idea through detailed development, ensuring that project visions align with client needs, cultural context, and technical requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design proposals, coordinating construction drawings, guiding design teams, and collaborating closely with consultants and stakeholders.
The Senior Design
Architect will oversee design quality, manage timelines and deliverables, and support design management processes across multiple projects. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, participating in client presentations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in Architectural Design and Architecture, with a proven track record in leading complex design projects.
- Experience in Design Management, including coordination of design teams, project schedules, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Advanced skills in relevant design and visualization software and strong understanding of building codes and standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and design integrity.
- Experience in cultural, commercial, or mixed-use projects and prior leadership experience in an architecture or design firm is highly beneficial.
