About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Content Writer & Scriptwriter to take ownership of our content direction and brand voice.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that great content is more than writing — it is about ideas, storytelling, audience psychology, cultural relevance, and creating content that people want to watch, share, and remember.

The ideal candidate will have strong Malayalam and English writing skills , excellent storytelling ability, and hands-on experience creating Reels, short-form video scripts, social media campaigns, brand stories, and promotional content.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and develop Nakshathra’s content voice, tone, and storytelling direction across digital platforms.
- Create engaging and conversion-focused content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, campaigns, and other digital platforms .
- Write creative Reels, short-form video scripts, promotional videos, campaign scripts, and brand stories .
- Develop creative concepts and storytelling ideas for jewellery campaigns and product launches.
- Create content for founder branding, brand ambassadors, campaigns, and special occasions .
- Develop culturally relevant and innovative content ideas based on current social media trends and audience behaviour.
- Turn marketing objectives into strong creative concepts, scripts, hooks, captions, and campaign narratives.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Social Media, Video Production, Design, and Creative Teams to execute content effectively.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, storytelling, and communication across all channels.
- Research competitors, industry trends, audience interests, emerging content formats, and social media trends.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, creativity,



and brand consistency.
- Take ownership of content calendars, campaign requirements, deadlines, and overall content delivery.
- Continuously experiment with new storytelling formats and creative approaches to improve audience engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field .
- 4–7 years of relevant professional experience in content writing, copywriting, scriptwriting, digital content, or a similar role.
- Excellent Malayalam and English writing and communication skills .
- Strong hands-on experience in Reels and short-form video scripting .
- Excellent storytelling, creative writing, and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and digital content trends .
- Ability to write strong hooks, narratives, CTAs, captions, and campaign messaging.
- Strong research, editing, proofreading, and content planning skills.
- Ability to understand a brand’s audience and create content that connects with them.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred
- Experience in jewellery, fashion, luxury, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands .
- Strong portfolio showcasing Reels/scripts, social media campaigns, brand storytelling, copywriting, and creative concepts .
- Experience creating content for founders, influencers, brand ambassadors, or high-visibility campaigns .
- Strong understanding of Malayalam culture, trends, humour, and audience behaviour.
- Ability to take an idea from concept → script → execution .
- Experience working closely with video production and creative teams.
