Company Description Nature’s Cafe is a welcoming café located inside Harinalaya and in Baguihati Kolkata, serving guests daily from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 1PM to 11PM respectively. The café focuses on providing a relaxed and warm setting where visitors can enjoy quality beverages and delicious food options. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Nature’s Cafe in Kolkata. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee, manual brews, beverages, teas, and other café drinks according to established recipes and standards. Daily tasks include preparing beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring equipment is properly used and cared for.

The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing responsive,



friendly customer service throughout each shift. The Barista will also support opening and closing duties for the barista station, restock supplies, follow hygiene and safety guidelines, and work collaboratively with the café team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess barista and coffee preparation skills, including familiarity with espresso machines and manual brewing methods.
- Candidates should possess customer service and interpersonal skills to engage courteously with guests and build positive customer relationships.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with team members, proving oneself to be a team player.
- Candidates should possess basic food preparation skills and an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior café or restaurant experience, ability to stand for extended periods, basic math skills for handling cash and POS systems, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and a commitment to punctuality and teamwork.
