At Gayathri & Namith Architects, we design with purpose, precision, and people at the center. We are looking for a Senior Architect with 8 - 10 years of professional experience who can lead design development, manage teams, and take ownership of projects from concept to execution.

Role Overview

As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in translating design intent into buildable, well-coordinated architecture. You will work closely with principals, consultants, and project teams while mentoring junior architects and ensuring high standards of design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Leadership

- Lead projects through Concept, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and GFC stages
- Translate design concepts into technically sound drawings and details
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all stages

Project & Team Management
- Independently handle a wide to mid-scale projects or lead packages in large projects
- Guide and mentor junior architects and interns
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants

Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design discussions
- Address client feedback and ensure timely design revisions
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during execution

Documentation & Site Support
- Oversee preparation of working drawings, specifications,



and GFC sets
- Conduct site visits, review drawings, and respond to site queries
- Ensure quality control and compliance with design and statutory requirements

Process & Practice Discipline
- Adhere to office standards, drawing protocols, timelines, and quality benchmarks
- Maintain time logs, weekly planning, and internal reporting as required
- Support project reviews and internal audits

Required Skills & Experience

- 8-10 years of skilled experience in architectural practice
- Strong expertise in High rise/Residential / Commercial / Institutional projects (as applicable)
- Proficiency in both AutoCad & Revit
- Sound knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing
- Ability to manage teams, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
