Role: Senior Application Developer Finance Intelligence Automation

Location: Remote

Work timing: US EST or UK Hours

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the Finance Intelligence Automation team. This is a hands-on development role supporting and enhancing an existing enterprise application used across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate can step into an existing codebase immediately, troubleshoot defects, implement targeted fixes, and deliver enhancements with minimal guidance or ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and enhance an existing JavaScript/React/TypeScript application.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and technical issues.
- Implement targeted fixes and enhancements without disrupting existing functionality.
- Support country-specific application requirements and configurations.
- Develop front-end logic, validations, and user functionality.
- Use Git/GitHub for source control and team-oriented development.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, and testing.
- Validate fixes and participate in code reviews and application testing.




- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional application development experience; strong senior-level experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on JavaScript, React, and TypeScript experience.
- Proven ability to quickly understand and navigate existing/mature codebases.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and defect-resolution skills.
- Experience making targeted code changes while protecting existing functionality.
- Strong Git/GitHub experience.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to work independently and become productive immediately with little to no training.

Preferred

- SQL / relational database experience.
- CI/CD and application deployment experience.
- Automated testing experience.
- Enterprise application support experience.
- Experience supporting applications with multi-country or regional requirements.
