Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajnandgaon. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, monitor budgeting and cost control, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation regulations, and internal policies. Additional responsibilities include overseeing inventory accounting,



supporting audits, improving financial processes, and providing management with accurate financial analysis and reports to aid decision-making.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and budgeting within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to interpret financial data.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or food processing company in a senior accounting capacity is preferred.
