Core Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & General Ledger

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and record journal entries for complex accounting transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany allocations.
- Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure financial data is properly classified.

Analysis & Compliance

- Analyze financial statements for variances, trends, and discrepancies, reporting findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (such as US GAAP or IFRS) and local tax regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, schedules, and workflows.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure corporate compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.

Leadership & Process Improvement

- Review the work of junior accountants or bookkeepers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Optimize accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities across departments.





Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Qualified certification such as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is highly preferred or required by most employers.

Experience

- 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and corporate experience.

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in ERP software like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Expert-level Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial data analysis frameworks.

Soft Skills

- Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot trends, anomalies, and inefficiencies in vast data sets.
- Communication: Capacity to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High precision in data verification and compliance tracking.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
