L2 Supervisor 1-2 years Chennai Full Time No minimum qualification required Reports to: Assistant Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise all security guards, lady guards, and escorts deployed at the assigned client site

- Prepare and manage duty rosters - ensure all posts are covered across all shifts

- Conduct daily attendance checks and maintain accurate attendance records for all deployed security staff

- Ensure all deployed security personnel are in proper uniform and correctly posted at their positions

- Conduct regular patrol inspections to verify guard performance and site security standards

- Be the primary point of contact for the client site manager on all security matters

- Manage access control at the site - visitor management, vehicle checking, material movement

- Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and alarms at the site

- Maintain all site security documentation - attendance registers, visitor logs, incident reports, duty handover records

- Coordinate guard replacements during absences, emergencies, and shift changes

- Report all incidents, performance issues, and site concerns to the Assistant Security Officer





- Conduct site inductions for newly deployed security staff and verify their understanding of site protocols

Requirements

- No minimum educational qualification required

- 1-2 years of experience as a security guard or in a security supervisory role

- Demonstrated leadership ability - capable of managing and directing a team of security personnel

- Valuable knowledge of access control, visitor management, and site security protocols

- Physical fitness and ability to conduct regular site patrols

- Punctuality, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts

Nice to Have

- Ex-serviceman or ex-police background is a strong advantage

- Prior experience as a security supervisor at a corporate, hospital, or industrial site

- Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and first aid procedures

- Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control technology
