We're Hiring: Cybersecurity Manager (SOC)

Experience: 0–5 Years | Freshers Preferred

Engagement Type: 100% Commission-Based | No Fixed Salary, No Base Pay

We're looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Manager to join our Security Operations function — someone comfortable working directly with open-source detection and testing tools on a daily basis, not just theoretical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor, detect, and triage security alerts across SIEM platforms
- Build, tune, and manage detection/correlation rules in Wazuh (open-source SIEM/XDR)
- Ingest, pipeline, and correlate log data using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) / Elastic Security
- Conduct Vulnerability Management (VM) — identify, prioritize, and track remediation of vulnerabilities
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) using Burp Suite (proxy, repeater, scanner) against real and practice targets
- Test and identify web application vulnerabilities using the OWASP Top 10 framework, validated against deliberately vulnerable apps (e.g., OWASP Juice Shop, DVWA)
- Map detections and incidents to adversary behavior using the MITRE ATT&CK; framework and the Cyber Kill Chain
- Track and triage vulnerabilities using CVE/NVD public feeds
- Support DLP, EDR, Firewall, and Network Security operations
- Apply cloud security fundamentals to monitoring and response activities
- Investigate incidents end-to-end: detect → triage → respond → report
- Write clean, structured incident and audit reports (executive summary + findings format)




- Use Python for log parsing, automation, and lightweight security tooling

Required Skills & Tools Knowledge (Mandatory):

- Wazuh — hands-on setup, rule writing, and alert correlation
- ELK Stack / Elastic Security (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) — dashboards and log pipelines
- Burp Suite Community — manual and semi-automated web app testing
- MITRE ATT&CK; framework — tactics, techniques, and mapping exercises
- CVE / NVD vulnerability feeds — navigation and triage
- OWASP Top 10 — practical application on OWASP Juice Shop / DVWA
- Python — scripting for log parsing and automation
- Solid fundamentals in: SIEM, VAPT, DLP, EDR, Firewalls, Network Security, Cloud Security
- Solid understanding of networking and OS internals (Linux & Windows) — TCP/IP, logs, firewalls, VPN

Mandatory Certifications:

- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Who Can Apply:

- Candidates with up to 5 years of relevant SOC/security experience are also welcome

Compensation:
