Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Intern role at Zentrix Technologies is a 6-month, work-from-home internship designed for freshers and candidates with up to 6 months of experience.

The intern will assist with keyword research, website content optimisation, metadata optimisation, SEO audits, competitor research, and search engine ranking activities. Daily responsibilities will include analysing website performance, identifying relevant keywords, supporting link-building activities, optimising content for search engines, and preparing reports on SEO performance and trends.

The intern will also gain practical exposure to SEO and AEO strategies and work closely with the digital marketing team to support ongoing SEO campaigns. This role provides an opportunity to develop hands-on knowledge of search optimisation, digital marketing tools, content strategy, and current SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities





- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-potential search terms.
- Assist with on-page SEO activities including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content optimisation.
- Support SEO audits and identify technical and content-related areas for improvement.
- Optimise website content to improve search visibility and user experience.
- Assist with AEO strategies to improve content visibility in search results and answer-based searches.
- Conduct competitor research and analyse their SEO strategies.
- Monitor keyword rankings and website performance.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
- Research current SEO trends, search behaviour, and Google algorithm updates.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research platforms.
- Prepare basic SEO reports and performance summaries.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing and development teams on SEO-related activities.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while implementing SEO recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO and digital marketing best practices.

Qualifications

- Fundamental understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, content optimisation, and basic link-building techniques.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and how search engines work.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console,



keyword research tools, or other SEO platforms is preferred.
- Robust research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret basic performance data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Interest in SEO, AEO, digital marketing, web technologies, and search trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a work-from-home environment.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop practical SEO skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
