SDE 2 (2+ Years of Experience)

SDE 2 – Backend Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend systems using Node.js. The role involves building reliable APIs and services, working with databases and distributed systems, and taking end-to-end ownership of backend features in a fast-paced product setting.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend components
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
- Own backend features end-to-end from development to production
- Write clean, maintainable,



and well-tested code
- Debug production issues and improve system reliability and performance
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

You're a Great Fit If You
- 2–4 years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in payments or fintech products.
