As part of the Solutions & Technology Team, you will support technology initiatives for Shoppers Stop and GSSB. The team operates in a collaborative, performance-driven workplace, working closely with multiple business functions including Buying & Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT.

Position

SAP MM Consultant (Retail)

Experience

1. Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience of Retail Industry, preferably in SAP IS-Retail setting
2. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, support, enhancements, and rollout projects
3. Strong understanding of Retail Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
4. Experience working with cross-functional SAP modules such as SD, FI and CAR
5. Exposure to SAP IS-Retail processes including Article & Vendor Master, Assortment Management, Pricing Procedures and Merchandise Procurement

Key Responsibilities SAP MM Functional Support & Enhancements

1. SAP IS-Retail experience preferred with Knowledge of:

9. Understanding of retail supply chain operations

11. Ensure accurate master data and process compliance across systems
12. Configure and maintain SAP MM functionalities including:
13. Purchasing
14. Inventory Management
15. Goods Receipt & Goods Issue
16. Invoice Verification
17. Vendor Master Management
18. Release Strategies

Pricing Procedures
20. Stock Transfers
21. Replenishment
22. Provide day-to-day support for SAP MM processes across retail operations.
23. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP MM-related business and system issues.
24. Manage incidents, service requests, problem management, and change requests within defined SLAs.
25. Support business users in procurement, inventory management, goods movement, invoice verification, and vendor management processes.

Business Process Consulting

1. Work closely with Buying & Merchandising, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Store Operations, and Finance teams to understand business requirements.
2. Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and BRDs.
3. Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities within SAP MM and retail supply chain operations.
4. Support implementation of new business processes and system enhancements.

Technical & Qualified Skills

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
2. Experience in requirement gathering and business process mapping
3. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
4. Ability to perform impact assessment and solution design
5. Vendor management and stakeholder management skills
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Qualifications

1. SAP MM Certification
2. Must have 1 E2E SAP S/4HANA implementation
3. Experience in SAP Upgrade Project
4. Exposure to SAP CAR and SAP SD
5. Experience in organized retail industry

Education

1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field
2. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma preferred
3. SAP MM Certification would be an added advantage
