Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, preferably with strong domain experience in FMCG or Retail. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules across business processes.
- Handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting.
- Work on Controlling (CO) including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
- Manage integration of FICO with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement and support activities.
- Configure taxation, payment processes, financial statements, validations, substitutions and account determination.
- Support month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting processes.




- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
- Conduct testing, defect resolution, user training and documentation.
- Work with business users and stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required Skills:

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
- Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO configuration and support.
- Robust knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting.
- Mandatory: Relevant domain experience in FMCG or Retail.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of FI-MM and FI-SD integration.
- Experience with end-to-end implementation and production support.
- Good understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
