Our consultants design, configure, and deploy decentralized warehouse solutions that scale across multi-site, multi-channel, and OEM environments—integrating seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA, TM, and IBP to drive efficiency, visibility, and automation.

Role & Responsibilities

- Design and implement decentralized SAP EWM architectures for multi-plant, multi-site, or multi-tenant warehouse environments.
- Configure and optimize EWM for decentralized storage, picking, packing, and goods movement with embedded RF and mobile integration.
- Lead end-to-end EWM process design for inbound/outbound logistics, cross-docking, and yard management in distributed warehouse setups.
- Integrate decentralized EWM with SAP S/4HANA, TM, and O2C processes ensuring real-time data sync and exception handling.
- Conduct blueprint workshops, UAT, and post-go-live support with business users across regional warehouse teams.
- Document technical specifications, process flows, and configuration guides tailored for decentralized EWM rollout.
- Mentor junior consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Functional, Technical, QA) to ensure solution quality and timeliness.
- Participate in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations, and client presentations.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

- Proven experience (3+ years) in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and support in decentralized warehouse environments.
- Deep understanding of decentralized warehouse structures (e.g., Storage Types, Storage Sections, Production Supply Areas).
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM (Transportation Management),



and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Strong proficiency in RF mobile infrastructure, including barcode scanning, handheld device configuration (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell), and SAP EWM mobile UI.
- Experience mapping and modeling complex warehouse processes (e.g., putaway, picking, packing, returns, cycle counting).
- Working knowledge of SAP ABAP for EWM enhancements (e.g., custom BAdIs, user exits, and SmartForms/SmartScripts).
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for EWM monitoring and exception handling.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills—ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred

- Experience leading SAP WM to EWM migration projects (including data conversion, legacy system integration, and gap analysis).
- Familiarity with SAP IBP for Supply Chain Planning and its integration with EWM for demand-driven fulfillment.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, conveyor systems, IoT sensors) and integration patterns.
- Certification in SAP EWM (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP EWM 9.x or 10.x).
- Experience working in agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery environments.
