Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role for HDFC Bank Credit Cards based in Faridabad. The Salesperson will engage with prospective customers in designated areas or branches, explain credit card features and benefits, and guide them through the application process.

Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting customer outreach via field visits or in-branch interactions, and following up to convert prospects into credit card customers. The role also involves verifying basic customer information, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate, and adhering to bank policies and regulatory guidelines.



The Salesperson will work closely with the local sales team to meet individual and team targets, report daily activities, and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present product information clearly and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Sales aptitude, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing skills, preferably with experience in financial services or retail sales.
- Customer service orientation, with the ability to understand customer needs, respond to queries, and handle objections professionally.
- Basic numerical and documentation skills to explain card fees and features, complete forms accurately, and comply with bank procedures.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment and manage time effectively.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at the high school or undergraduate level; prior sales or banking experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local markets in Faridabad and willingness to conduct field visits as required.
- Integrity and adherence to ethical sales practices, regulatory requirements, and HDFC Bank’s compliance standards.
