The Senior Technical Architect - DevOps is a strategic technology architect responsible for de ning and driving enterprise DevOps strategy, architecture, and governance for large-scale Salesforce transformation programs. This role partners with customer executives, delivery leadership, and account teams to design scalable DevOps operating models, lead enterprise architecture discussions, and drive DevOps maturity across organizations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and scaling DevOps teams/CoE from the ground up, leading enterprise DevOps transformations, supporting large Salesforce pre-sales engagements, and leveraging

AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

- De ne enterprise DevOps strategy, architecture, and governance for complex Salesforce programs.
- Lead customer discussions on DevOps transformation, scaling strategies, release modernization, and engineering excellence.
- Architect end-to-end CI/CD, DevSecOps, environment management, version control, and deployment automation solutions.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders, including enterprise architects, engineering leaders, and delivery executives.
- Conduct DevOps maturity assessments, architecture workshops, and technical governance reviews.

- Design scalable release and branching strategies, deployment models, and operational frameworks aligned to customer needs.
- Partner with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and successful delivery.
- Support strategic pre-sales activities including discovery sessions, solutioning, effort estimation, RFP/RFI responses, technical presentations, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

- Establish reusable DevOps standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines across programs.




- Promote the use of AI-assisted engineering practices and modern developer productivity tools to improve speed, quality, documentation, and automation.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to architects and senior engineers across multiple engagements.

- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs, and drive mitigation through clear recommendations and governance.

Minimum Requirements

- 14+ years of overall IT experience, including 10+ years on the Salesforce platform.
- 8+ years architecting enterprise DevOps, Platform Engineering, Release Management, or CI/CD solutions.

- Proven experience leading enterprise DevOps transformations and de ning scalable operating models.
- Strong experience engaging with CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce DevOps, Salesforce DX, Metadata API, Salesforce CLI, Apex, LWC, release management, and environment strategy.

- Expertise with Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Azure Repos.
- Robust understanding of Platform Engineering, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or equivalent), DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, security integration, and observability platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, or equivalent monitoring platforms.

- Practical experience integrating AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot,



and Cursor into enterprise software delivery.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise pre-sales and large Salesforce transformation pursuits.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Preferred Requirements

- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certi cation.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.

- Cloud certi cations (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps).
- Experience de ning enterprise governance frameworks and DevOps Centers of Excellence.
- Excellent consulting, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
