This role contributes to client Salesforce consulting and delivery, working with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, improve and support enterprise applications.

Role purpose

Teceze is seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant to improve client sales and service processes through practical platform configuration. You will work directly with business users to define requirements, configure reliable workflows, validate outcomes and support adoption. The role requires deep expertise in at least one cloud and working knowledge of the other.

Key responsibilities

- Facilitate workshops with sales, service and operations teams to understand process pain points, business rules, reporting needs and success criteria.
- Configure lead, account, contact and prospect processes, including qualification, stages, approvals and forecasting requirements where applicable.
- Configure case management, queues, routing, Omni-Channel, Knowledge and service-level workflows appropriate to the client service model.
- Build Flow automation, validation rules, page layouts and user experiences that simplify work while maintaining clear exception handling.
- Configure roles, permission sets and sharing requirements with security stakeholders, validating access through representative user scenarios.
- Define reports and dashboards that use agreed business definitions and support operational decisions rather than only activity reporting.




- Prepare functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria for requirements that need development or integration support.
- Support data cleansing and migration through mapping, sample validation, reconciliation and business-owner sign-off.
- Execute configuration testing, coordinate UAT, investigate defects and support controlled release and cutover activities.
- Create training materials and support guides, run user demonstrations and use feedback to improve adoption after deployment.

Required skills and experience

- Hands-on implementation experience in Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, with working knowledge of the other and clear examples of delivered outcomes.
- Strong Salesforce administration and configuration skills, including Flow, validation, permissions, reporting and data management.
- Ability to analyse sales or service processes and distinguish standard platform functionality from genuine customisation needs.
- Experience preparing user stories, functional designs and test cases that delivery teams and business users can understand.
- Ability to investigate configuration defects and collaborate with developers on data, integration and automation dependencies.
- Confident workshop facilitation, user training and communication with stakeholders who have different levels of technical knowledge.

Key deliverables

Functional design, configured sales or service processes, dashboards, migration validation, UAT evidence, user training and administration runbooks.

Measures of success

- Configured workflows meet accepted requirements and handle realistic business exceptions without excessive manual intervention.
- Business users can complete core tasks after training, with adoption and data quality improving against agreed baselines.
- Releases include validated permissions, clear support ownership and manageable post-launch issue volumes.
