Role purpose

Teceze is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud and Data 360 Consultant to implement trusted customer data foundations for client analytics, segmentation and AI use cases. You will connect data sources, establish useful customer profiles and help business teams activate data responsibly. Hands-on data delivery and reconciliation are central to this role.

Key responsibilities

- Run data discovery sessions to establish use cases, source ownership, refresh needs, consent requirements and the business definition of a customer.
- Configure source connections and ingestion pipelines for Salesforce and external systems, choosing appropriate batch or streaming approaches.
- Map source fields into data models; implement transformations, standardisation and quality checks that preserve meaning and traceability.
- Design identity resolution and reconciliation rules, investigating false matches, duplicate profiles and records that fail to resolve.
- Build calculated insights, SQL analyses and audience segments with documented logic, expected counts and business-owner validation.
- Configure data activation into approved sales, service and marketing destinations; verify field mappings, eligibility rules and successful delivery.




- Support Agentforce grounding and retrieval use cases with appropriate source selection, permissions and tests of data relevance and freshness.
- Implement access restrictions, consent controls, retention requirements and data lineage in collaboration with client governance teams.
- Monitor ingestion errors, processing latency, consumption and capacity; recommend optimisations against agreed budgets and service expectations.
- Prepare test evidence, release documentation and operating runbooks; train client teams to interpret results and investigate routine data issues.

Required skills and experience

- Hands-on delivery experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or Data 360, or comparable customer data platform experience with demonstrable Salesforce capability.
- Robust SQL, data modelling, transformation and reconciliation skills, including investigation of missing, duplicated or inconsistent records.
- Understanding of customer identity matching, unified profiles, segmentation and activation across business applications.
- Experience with APIs, connectors and data pipelines, including error handling, incremental loads and source-system dependencies.
- Ability to turn a business use case into a testable data design and explain data limitations to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Practical understanding of permission models, data minimisation, consent and the operational consequences of poor data quality.

Key deliverables

Source-to-target mappings, data models, identity-resolution rules, segment definitions, reconciliation evidence, activation configurations and support runbooks.

Measures of success

- Data completeness, freshness and matching quality meet the thresholds agreed with source owners and business stakeholders.
- Activated segments and insights reconcile to approved test cases and reach the intended destinations with appropriate access controls.
- Consumption, failures and processing delays are visible, explained and managed within agreed operating expectations.
