Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Communication Cloud Developer (Vlocity Dev) to help design, build, and implement scalable solutions within the Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity) platform. This role will focus on enabling end-to-end digital experiences for customers in the telecom sector through product configuration, guided selling, and order management capabilities.

As a key member of our Salesforce development team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance digital services and next-gen customer journeys. The role will also contribute to AI-enabled customer and employee experiences using Salesforce Agentforce, with a focus on trusted data, secure actions, and responsible delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development

- Develop and customize components using OmniStudio tools (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Vlocity Cards).
- Implement and optimize Industry-specific CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes, including product catalogs, pricing logic, and rules.
- Configure and enhance Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) and Order Management processes to streamline service activation and delivery.
- Build reusable and modular components for use across customer journeys and sales/service processes.

Salesforce AI Agentic Development

- Design, configure, and extend Salesforce Agentforce agents for Communications Cloud use cases across sales, service, and self-service journeys, including topics , instructions , actions , and guardrails .




- Build grounded AI experiences using trusted Salesforce CRM and Knowledge data and, where applicable, orchestrate agent actions through OmniStudio , Flow , Apex , APIs, and external integrations.
- Implement secure and reliable agent actions using least-privilege access , sharing and field-level security , approval gates , escalation and human hand-off , auditability , and deterministic controls for customer-impacting transactions.
- Prototype, test, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI and agentic capabilities in collaboration with product owners, architects, security , data, and quality engineering teams.

Integration Data Management

- Integrate Communication Cloud with external systems (e.g., OSS/BSS, billing, ERP) using Salesforce APIs , DataRaptors , and Integration Procedures .
- Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Salesforce and telecom backend systems.
- Develop and manage custom objects, Apex classes, and Lightning components as needed for platform extensions.

Collaboration Support

- Work with business analysts, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.




- Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and deployment planning.
- Support production environments by troubleshooting issues and implementing long-term fixes.

Qualifications:

Required:

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries / Communication Cloud (Vlocity) .
- Strong experience with OmniStudio , including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ for Communications , product catalogs, and guided selling.
- Proficient in Apex , SOQL , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and platform events.
- Solid understanding of telecom business processes (e.g., product ordering, service provisioning, order decomposition).
- Salesforce Communications Cloud Accredited Professional or OmniStudio Developer Certification.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein capabilities, including Agent Builder , topics , actions , instructions , guardrails , and prompt templates .
- Experience grounding generative AI responses in trusted Salesforce data and Knowledge .
- Solid understanding of AI security and goverce , including the Einstein Trust Layer , PII and data protection , permission-aware responses, audit logging , testing, and human-in-the-loop controls.
