Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Ludhiana.

The Sales

Manager will be responsible for leading sales activities, managing and mentoring the sales team, and achieving revenue and growth targets in assigned territories. Day-to-day tasks include identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients, and conducting regular market visits. The role involves developing and executing sales plans, monitoring performance metrics, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and coordinating with marketing and operations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Manager will also handle negotiations, oversee pricing strategies within company guidelines, and represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in lighting, electrical, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Strong skills in business development, account management, and customer relationship management.
- Ability to set sales targets, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities, with experience coaching and engaging sales teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with on-site client interactions, field visits, and coordination with internal departments.
- Good understanding of local market dynamics in Ludhiana and surrounding regions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
