We need someone who's already positive on the phone. CAT prep can teach the rest.
1. ? Gurugram, on-site
2. 6 days a week ·
3. Full-time
4. ₹28,000–35,000 fixed + up to ₹15,000 variable
5. 6 months to 1 year experience, any degree
3 lakh+ CAT aspirants follow this brand. 40,000+ of them have gotten into an IIM. Every day, some of them fill out a form asking to talk to someone. That someone is you.
This is for you if
- You've sold something over the phone before, and you know what a "maybe" sounds like before the prospect says it out loud
- You can hold a real conversation in English and Hindi, not just read from a script in either
- You want a number to hit every month, not a vague "let's see how it goes"
- You'd rather ask someone their actual timeline and percentile goal than push whatever programme is easiest to sell
- You've either taken CAT yourself, or you know the B-school admissions game well enough to talk about it credibly
This probably isn't for you if
- You want a desk job with zero calls and zero targets
- You freeze up on price objections instead of engaging with them
- Being in Gurugram, in person, six days a week is a dealbreaker
What the job actually looks like
- Aspirants come to you already interested. You figure out their target percentile, timeline, and what's actually stopping them
- You recommend the right cohort (6 to 15 months) for where they are, not where a target sheet wants them to be
- You run your own pipeline: first call, every follow-up, right through to enrolment
- You handle real price and credibility objections with real answers
- You keep your CRM clean and tell marketing the truth about lead quality, even when it's not flattering
Tools you should already know CRM (LeadSquared, Zoho, Salesforce or similar), Excel or Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business. Bonus points if you've used a dialer like Ozonetel or Exotel.
Why people take this over other sales jobs The brand has already done the convincing. You're not cold calling, you're following up with someone who raised their hand. The upside is real too: up to ₹15,000 a month in variable, on top of a fixed ₹28,000 to ₹35,000. And you're helping someone decide how to spend the next year of their life, which is a heavier, more interesting conversation than most sales jobs give you.
How hiring works here
One round. One conversation that covers screening and a mock counselling exercise. If it's a fit, you'll know within 7 working days of your first call.
Who's hiring you
Fast hiring usually drops the bar. Thirty CVs get skimmed, three that look fine get picked, and the rest of the stack never gets opened. The role fills quickly. You find out in month three what was sitting on page forty.
Aara Recruits doesn't make that trade. Send the JD, that's the only part the client does. Every application gets read in full against the brief. When the inbound pipeline isn't enough, they source beyond it, make first contact, chase the replies, and qualify people on the things that usually kill offers late. Confirmed interviews land straight in the calendar, often within hours of a shortlist forming.
Clients pay only when they hire. No retainer, no upfront fee, nothing owed if a search doesn't land.
How they keep the bar high while moving fast:
- Full reads, not keyword scans. Candidate forty gets the same attention as candidate one
- One rubric across the whole pool, so nobody's judged on a different scale
- Experience weighted for depth and recency. Listing a tool isn't the same as having shipped with it
- Every shortlist comes with the reasoning behind it, so a client can push back if they disagree
- Gaps get stated plainly. Nobody gets quietly rejected without the client knowing why
Built for teams filling roles under pressure, who'd rather be interviewing than recruiting.
