Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic Mechanical Engineering professional with 1–5 years of experience who enjoys working with customers and has an interest in refrigeration, air-conditioning and industrial equipment.

The role combines technical understanding, customer interaction and field sales/application support. The candidate will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly visit customers, OEMs, contractors, consultants and industrial users to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer applications and assist in selection of suitable products and technical solutions.
- Prepare and submit technical-commercial quotations, product selections and proposals.
- Follow up on quotations, enquiries, projects and orders to drive opportunities toward closure.
- Provide basic technical and application support to customers in coordination with internal/product teams.
- Maintain systematic records of enquiries, quotations, customer visits and opportunity pipelines.
- Develop knowledge of customer equipment, applications and competitive products in the territory.
- Coordinate internally for pricing, availability,



order execution and customer requirements.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings, site visits and business development.

Preferred Technical Exposure Candidates having experience or knowledge in any of the following would have an advantage:

HVAC & Refrigeration: Refrigeration systems, chillers, cold rooms, compressors, condensers, evaporators, controls, valves and related components.

Industrial Air Compressors: Exposure to screw/reciprocating compressors or equipment from manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, Kaeser or similar industrial compressor companies.

Experience with HVAC&R; contractors, refrigeration companies, compressor dealers/service companies, industrial equipment distributors or OEMs would be particularly relevant.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should:

- Have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess 1–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Be technically curious and willing to develop strong application knowledge.
- Be comfortable meeting customers and spending significant time in the field.
- Have good communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Be able to understand customer problems and translate them into appropriate technical-commercial solutions.
- Have working knowledge of Excel, email and preparation of quotations/proposals.
- Be self-driven, organized and capable of following multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
