Role Description: The Sales and Marketing Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting WisGrowth’s growth initiatives and learner community. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with outreach to prospective users, responding to inquiries, and providing customer support across email, social media, and other digital channels. The intern will help coordinate and track sales activities, qualify leads, and support basic pipeline management.

They will contribute to marketing campaigns by preparing outreach messages, supporting training or demo sessions for new users,



and collecting feedback to improve user experience.

This role offers hands-on exposure to sales and marketing operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including transparent written and verbal interaction with diverse audiences.
- Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a supportive user experience.
- Foundational Sales skills, such as prospecting, lead qualification, and follow-up.
- Interest or experience in Training, including supporting demos, walkthroughs, or onboarding sessions.
- Basic understanding of Sales Management concepts, such as tracking leads and documenting activities.
- High level of ownership, reliability, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with digital tools (CRM systems, productivity apps, or social media platforms) is beneficial.
- Current students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field are preferred, but all fields are welcome.
