Role Description The Rockwell PLC Programmer role is a full-time hybrid position based in New Delhi, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. The role involves designing, programming, configuring, and testing Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC systems and related automation hardware for industrial and manufacturing clients. Daily tasks include developing control logic, troubleshooting PLC and HMI issues, performing on-site and remote commissioning, and preparing technical documentation such as functional specifications and user manuals.

The programmer collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand requirements, optimize process performance, and ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards. The role also includes maintaining existing automation systems,



implementing software updates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across client facilities.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC programming (e.g., RSLogix/Studio 5000), including ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
- Experience with Rockwell automation ecosystem, such as HMIs (FactoryTalk View), SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Solid understanding of industrial automation, manufacturing process control, and instrumentation in discrete or process industries.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, P&IDs;, control schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems and familiarity with IT/OT integration concepts.
- Competence in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing reliable, safe control solutions under time constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients in international environments.
- Relevant technical education, such as a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Current Delhi and travel to client sites as required.
- Experience in digitalization projects, data acquisition, or Industry 4.0 solutions is an advantage.
