Role Description

· The Robotics & Automation Trainer will deliver instructor-led training sessions on robotics, automation, electronics, programming, and related technologies to learners at NSDC Academy’s Desari location. This contract, on-site role involves planning and structuring course content, preparing training materials and practical exercises, and conducting hands-on robotics labs, demonstrations, and project-based learning activities.

· The trainer will teach learners the fundamentals of robotics and automation, including sensors, actuators, motors, microcontrollers, basic electronics, programming, robotic mechanisms, and automation concepts. The role will involve guiding learners in building, programming, testing, and troubleshooting robotic and automation projects using educational robotics kits and development platforms.

· The trainer will assess learner progress through assignments, practical assessments, quizzes, and projects, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in understanding real-world applications of robotics and automation. The role also includes updating curriculum based on emerging technology trends,



collaborating with the academy team to improve training effectiveness, and maintaining detailed records of attendance and learner performance.

Qualifications

· Strong knowledge of core robotics and automation concepts, including robotics fundamentals, sensors, actuators, motors, control systems, basic electronics, and automation principles.

· Hands-on experience with robotics platforms, microcontrollers, programming, and educational robotics kits, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or similar platforms.

· Valuable understanding of programming languages/tools such as Python, C/C++, Arduino IDE, or other programming environments used for robotics and automation.

· Practical knowledge of electronic components, circuit connections, sensors, motors, motor drivers, LEDs, switches, relays, and basic troubleshooting.

· Ability to design and conduct hands-on robotics projects, practical demonstrations, experiments, and laboratory sessions.

· Ability to design and deliver clear, structured training sessions, with skills in lesson planning, classroom management, project-based learning, and learner engagement.

· Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible, practical, and learner-friendly manner.

· Experience mentoring or teaching students or professionals, ideally in robotics, automation,



electronics, embedded systems, STEM, IoT, or related technology fields.

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related discipline; relevant certifications are an advantage.

· Comfort working on-site in Desari on a contract basis, with a collaborative approach and a learner-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct interactive classroom and laboratory sessions on Robotics & Automation.

· Develop practical exercises, worksheets, presentations, and project assignments.

· Guide learners in building, programming, testing, and troubleshooting robots.

· Conduct hands-on demonstrations using robotics kits and electronic components.

· Evaluate learners through practical tests, assignments, quizzes, and projects.

· Maintain attendance, assessment, and learner-performance records.

· Provide individual guidance and constructive feedback to learners.

· Keep the curriculum updated with emerging trends in robotics, automation, IoT, embedded systems, and AI-enabled robotics.

- · Collaborate with the academy team to improve the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
