Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Research Writer specialized in thesis and research paper support.

The Research

Writer will assist students and clients in structuring research proposals, drafting thesis chapters, and developing academic research papers aligned with institutional guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, organizing and analyzing data or source material, and producing transparent, well-structured academic content. The role also involves revising and editing drafts, ensuring proper citations and formatting, and communicating with students to understand research objectives and provide guidance.

Writer will collaborate with the academic support team to maintain quality standards and meet agreed timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Research and Analytical Skills to identify relevant sources, evaluate information, and synthesize findings.
- Demonstrated Research Writing and Writing abilities for thesis, dissertations, and research papers.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with students, clarifying requirements, and providing constructive feedback.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with academic formatting and citation styles (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE).
- Experience with academic or scholarly work, such as theses, journal articles, or conference papers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, Humanities, Education, or related disciplines).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with word processing and research tools (e.g., Google Scholar, academic databases, reference managers).
