ARAI, Pune is a premier Automotive Research Institute, with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, involved in R&D;, Homologation, Testing & Certification, Calibration & Skill Development services to Automotive and Allied industries globally.

We are looking for the following position for our Automotive Electronics Department (HTC-AED) Department

Designation: Research Engineer (EMI-EMC) – 01 No. (ARAI Contract) (HTC-AED)

Location: Homologation and Technology Centre, ARAI, Chakan

Candidate should have Bachelor in Engineering with minimum aggregate 60% or 6.5 CGPA in any discipline.

Candidate poses necessary skills and experience should apply for the position.

- Plan and perform automotive EMI/EMC tests at component, subsystem, and vehicle level in accordance with approved test plans and standards.
- Execute tests including:

- Radiated Emissions (RE), Conducted Emissions (CE)
- Radiated Immunity (RI), Conducted Immunity (CI)
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), EFT, and surge tests

• Conduct testing and evaluations as per relevant EMC standards, including:
- CISPR 25, CISPR 12, CISPR 36
- ISO 7637 series –
- ISO 11452 / ISO 11451 series





- IEC 61851 / IS17017

- ISO 10605

UNECE Regulation No. 10 (R10), AIS 004 Part 3
- ISO 61000-4-x Series

• Perform all activities in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system requirements applicable to testing laboratories.
- Conduct periodic preventive maintenance of the test equipment as per procedure.
- Ready to work in any shift

Required Skill

- Hands-on experience on handling electrical/electronic test equipment such as EMI Receiver, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.
- Execution of Test with Preparation of Test setup as per standard or test plan.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word
- Communication as well as writing skills in English

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience: Min 02 Years of experience in testing domain

Positive to have: Hands on experience on EMC 32 software

Note for Contract Position: ARAI Contract for 01-year, Contract will be extended but it depends upon candidate performance.
