Renal Unit Assistant Practitioner

Are you an experienced health care support worker looking to enhance your knowledge and skill base and further your career as a renal assistant practitioner?

A vacancy has arisen for the above position within our dedicated renal service in Caithness General. This vacancy offers the prospect for a successful candidate to gain specific knowledge and skills within the speciality of haemodialysis The post holder will be expected to work as part of the team assisting the registered nursing team and other colleagues to provide care to our patients and also must participate in the SVQ3 educational programme. Clinical knowledge and practical experience in a healthcare environment with a willingness to learn new skills is essential for this post.
