Role Description The Release Manager at Rx Supply is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing software release cycles across multiple environments, ensuring that changes are deployed accurately, securely, and on schedule. Daily responsibilities include managing release calendars, collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams, tracking release readiness, and maintaining configuration baselines.

The Release

Manager will document release plans and procedures, monitor deployment activities, resolve release-related issues, and implement continuous improvements to the release process. This role also involves communicating release status to stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards relevant to pharmaceutical and healthcare operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Release Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating end-to-end release processes.
- Experience in Program Management, with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, dependencies, and timelines.




- Proficiency in Configuration Management practices to maintain version control, environment consistency, and audit trails.
- Understanding of Software Development concepts and life cycle, with the ability to work closely with engineering and QA teams.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess release impacts, identify risks, interpret metrics, and support data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with release and deployment tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, ticketing tools) is highly beneficial.
- Experience in regulated or healthcare/pharmaceutical environments and awareness of compliance and quality standards is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on reliability, documentation, and process improvement.
