Role Description This full-time Regional Sales Engineer role is based in Chennai in a hybrid work model, combining on-site client visits and office presence with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Regional Sales

Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote Phoenix Mecano’s enclosure and industrial component solutions within the designated region. Daily activities include meeting with customers, understanding technical requirements, preparing proposals, conducting product presentations and demonstrations,



and coordinating with internal engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, tracking projects through the sales cycle, preparing forecasts and reports, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The person in this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve regional sales targets and strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proven Sales and Customer Service capabilities to build relationships, manage accounts, and drive revenue growth.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in industrial components, enclosures, or related B2B engineering products is highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel within the region, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a hybrid setup from Chennai.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for sales planning and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, negotiation skills, and a focus on ethical, customer-centric sales practices.
