Cuddzy Tales is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Reels Video Editor to join our growing team in Cuddalore.

You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality short-form content for Instagram and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate should understand Reels editing, storytelling, pacing, on-screen captions and audience retention.

Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels and other short-form videos from raw footage
- Create engaging hooks and maintain solid pacing throughout the Reel
- Add clean and visually appealing on-screen captions and text animations
- Edit talking-head, product, jewellery, fashion and promotional content
- Select and synchronize music, sound effects and dialogue
- Add transitions, motion graphics and basic visual effects where required
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading
- Create edits that are visually engaging and optimized for social media




- Follow creative direction and implement feedback accurately
- Organize project files and deliver edits within agreed timelines
- Maintain consistency in editing style and quality across multiple projects

Qualifications

- Good knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing and visual composition
- Ability to create engaging on-screen captions and text animations
- Understanding of music, sound design and beat synchronization
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and VFX is a plus
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Freshers with a strong portfolio/showreel are welcome to apply
- A portfolio demonstrating previous Reels/short-form editing work is preferred
