Job Title: Reference Data BA Instrument Data

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Pune / Hyderabad

Budget: 20 LPA (depending on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Reference Data Business Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Instrument Reference Data to support reference data onboarding, governance, and management.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial instruments, reference data lifecycle, data sourcing, and data governance, along with experience working across Capital Markets / Banking environments.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Instrument Reference Data through Operations or Technology roles.
- Deep understanding of financial instruments and their attributes, including:

- Equities

- Fixed Income

- Derivatives

- Structured Products
- Strong knowledge of Reference Data lifecycle, sourcing, and governance.
- Experience with financial data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters/Refinitiv, Markit, etc.
- Knowledge of instrument data standards such as ISIN, CUSIP, LEI, etc.
- Understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements such as Basel,



CCAR, Risk and Finance reporting.
- Experience in Capital Markets / Banking domain.

Valuable to Have
- Experience in Business Analysis / Requirements Management.
- Exposure to ETL, data integration, and data transformation.
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing / Data Platforms.
- Understanding of Data Governance tools and frameworks.

Required Experience
- 510 years of relevant experience.
- Solid experience in Reference Data systems/platforms.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Data Modelling – Conceptual / Logical / Physical

- Data Mapping

- Data Transformation

- Reference Data Management
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets data and financial instruments.
