Role Description The Radiographer – Xray is a full time, on-site role based at Upasani Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai. The role involves performing diagnostic X-ray examinations as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate positioning of patients and proper operation of radiologic equipment. The radiographer will follow radiation safety protocols, maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality image production for effective diagnosis.

Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, managing imaging records,



and coordinating with medical and nursing teams to support patient care. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and safety in the radiology department and adhering to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of Radiation and Radiation Safety, including use of protective equipment and adherence to dose minimization principles.
- Diploma or degree in Radiography/Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution; relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Prior experience working as an X-ray Technician/Radiographer in a hospital or diagnostic center is preferred.
