ASR India, a leading executive search firm specializing in Finance & Accounting recruitment, is currently working on an exciting R2R opportunity with our client. Part of a well-established European organization, the company is an AI-native player engagement platform that combines Technology, AI, and Human Services to deliver world-class in-game support, VIP engagement, and safer online communities for players worldwide.

The R2R Team Leader [UK I EMEA I Americas I Asia] Region will supervise the R2R Regional team and ensure delivery of the following key activities:

1) R2R Process Centre of Excellence Set Up

Participate in activities to transition R2R activity to the Centre of Excellence from the [UK I EMEA I

Americas I Asia] Region, preparing process guides and work instructions and being involved in readiness assessments before ownership of any work transitions to the Centre of Excellence

Support during the post transition Hypercare period to ensure any issues around service delivery are identified quickly remediated.

2) R2R Process Service Delivery

Supervise the activities of the R2R [UK I EMEA I Americas I Asia] Region team ensuring service delivery to agreed standards, including:

Perform accounting activities relating to the maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger for the entities within [UK I EMEA I Americas I Asia] Region in compliance with approved accounting policies and standards

Deliver timely and accurate Month End and Year End activities and support the reporting of all relevant financial statements including the appropriate hand off of activities to the Regional Controlling team

Support the R2R Pillar Manager as they partner with the Regional Controlling team, articulating and reporting all relevant details within the P&L; and Balance Sheet statements and seeking input on any accounting issues that require a higher level of judgement to resolve

Perform accounting activities in a controlled, documented, timely manner,



supporting all aspects of query management and resolution including the positing of manual journals and management of fixed assets

Respond to requests for timely and accurate information as required to the Group Finance Controlling team e.g. Head of Tax to support external and internal reporting

Perform Balance Sheet assurance through the completion of detailed and accurate account reconciliations, responding to queries and proposing actions to resolve unreconciled items

Raise intercompany invoices as directed and work with counter-parties to propose solutions to resolve any unreconciled items in a timely fashion

Prepare regular and ad-hoc allocations of costs based on agreed policies and procedures

Apply appropriate financial control and governance by adhering to the group accounting manual, policies and control framework to support successful external audit outcomes

As required, work with the Regional Controlling team to help prepare local GAAP statutory and regulatory reporting.

3) Working with the Group Financial Controlling and other Finance Teams

Take part in activities with the Regional Controllers team to build the Centre of Excellence teams understanding of key business drivers, resolve issues and jointly develop opportunities for process improvement

Work with the Group Finance team, including Tax, Treasury and Finance Systems to leverage existing know-how, process and systems

Work as valued member of the Finance team, helping to shape, advocate for and deliver our Finance

Excellence vision to be trusted business partners that champion growth, create value and manage risk.

4) Controlling Projects and Initiatives





Support in projects sponsored by HQ Controlling to drive R2R process growth and performance improvement, including process standardization initiatives and systems implementation

Finance Team Management and Collaboration

Participate in activities to help support the development of the Global Finance Centre of Excellence

5) Finance Team Management and Collaboration

- Manage the R2R process team of Senior Analysts and Analysts setting goals and monitoring performance
- Support in creating plans for the personal development of team members, including succession plans and performance improvement plans
- Ensure the R2R team receive regular communication to help them become an integral and valued part of the Finance function
- Work as key member of the Finance team, helping to shape, advocate for and deliver our Finance Excellence vision to be trusted business partners that champion growth, create value and manage risk.

Candidate Preference

- This is an key role in the organization that requires a capable team leader with experience in the R2R process and a broad understanding of all Controlling processes, and an ability to manage the day-to-day activities of the team. To be successful in the role it is expected that you will be:
- A qualified CA / CMA is mandatory.
- Experience working as R2R Senior Analyst / Team Leader within a Global Finance function
- Have good understanding of R2R process, controls and related accounting policies
- Experience of managing the transition to a captive Centre of
- Excellence, recruiting a high performance team and managing the transition of R2R process activities
- Ability to manage service delivery though KPIs and SLAs
- Able to trouble shoot and remediate problems at source
- Confidence when participating in R2R process and systems change and ensuring the adoption of new ways of working
- Proactive and able to manage successful relations with Finance and non-Finance team members
- Strong team management skills and collaborative and inclusive approach to working with team members and colleagues
