no Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products (e.g., RDX, HMX, TNT, PBX).

no Validate manufacturing processes including mixing, casting, pressing, and filling operations.

n· Audits & Documentation

no Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits with regulatory authorities.

no Maintain traceability and documentation for all explosive batches and assemblies.

n· Leadership & Training

no Supervise and mentor QA/QC teams.

no Deliver training on quality standards, protected handling, and compliance protocols.

n· Continuous Improvement

no Drive initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance operational safety.

no Introduce modern quality tools (SPC, Six Sigma, Lean) for process optimization.

nRequired Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Explosives Engineering.
n
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quality management within explosives, chemicals, or defense manufacturing.

nResponsibilities

n· Testing & Analysis

no Perform chemical,



physical, and mechanical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

no Operate and maintain analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, spectrophotometers).

no Record, interpret, and report test results with precision.

n· Laboratory Operations

no Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and consumables inventory.

no Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs and safety protocols.

no Support process validation and product development activities.

n· Quality & Compliance

no Adhere to ISO, ASTM, BIS, and industry-specific standards.

no Document test procedures, results, and deviations in accordance with QMS requirements.

no Assist in internal and external audits related to laboratory operations.

n· Collaboration

no Work closely with R&D;, production, and QA teams to support product development and troubleshooting.

no Provide technical input for process improvements and material selection.

n· Safety & Risk Management

nRequired Qualifications
