Role Description The Quality Engineer role at Sunkonnect Sustainability is a full-time, on-site position based in Jodhpur.

The Quality

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures for sustainability and infrastructure projects, ensuring that deliverables meet internal benchmarks, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating quality plans, performing inspections and audits, analyzing data to identify trends and root causes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives,



documenting findings and corrective actions, and contributing to the optimization of processes and tools used in engineering and advisory projects.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Quality Engineering, with experience applying quality principles in engineering, infrastructure, or sustainability projects.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Control activities, including inspections, testing, data collection, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices, such as process audits, compliance checks, and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage Product Quality, focusing on reliability, performance, and adherence to specifications and standards.
- Experience in Quality Management, including developing quality plans, setting KPIs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; exposure to sustainability, energy, or infrastructure domains is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and recommend practical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices; certification in quality or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO-related training) is beneficial.
