About The Role To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability across our Payments Platform and financial transaction systems.

You will own the end-to-end testing process, including mobile applications, backend microservices, APIs, and payment integrations, ensuring every transaction is secure, compliant, and financially accurate. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about automation, distributed systems, and delivering high-quality payment solutions that make a significant impact on our clients and the industry.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in payment systems or financial technology.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, E&C; Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid proficiency in Java and automated testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience testing Android applications and mobile automation tools such as Appium.
- Good understanding of EMV, NFC, Contactless Payments, and ISO 8583 standards.
- Experience working with REST APIs, Postman, Rest Assured,



and API automation tools.
- Familiarity with SonarQube, Selenium, JUnit, and mobile automation testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
- Knowledge of security testing tools including OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite, with an emphasis on payment security and PCI DSS compliance.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, and experience validating financial transactions.
- Experience working with Kafka, microservices architecture, distributed systems, Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end test strategies for payment transaction flows, including EMV, sales, authorization, refunds, reversals, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Validate payment workflows across various components such as mobile applications, backend microservices, APIs, payment gateways, acquirers, processors, and banking systems to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, ensuring robust testing of APIs, mobile applications, and backend services.
- Develop automated regression test suites and integrate quality gates into continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.
- Perform performance, load, and stress testing to assess platform scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under various conditions.




- Conduct security testing focusing on encryption, authentication mechanisms, and vulnerability assessments aligned with OWASP standards, supporting PCI DSS and EMV compliance requirements.
- Execute compatibility testing across multiple mobile devices and operating system versions to ensure consistent user experience.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues, collaborating with engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical transaction failures efficiently.
