Project: Cross-Country Raw Water Pipeline (46 km, 1400 mm dia) — Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh (Site-based)

Duration: 12 Months (project-based, extendable as per site progress)

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Metallurgical Engineering
- Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP/AWS or equivalent) preferred

Experience
- 6+ years in QA/QC for cross-country or industrial pipelines, with direct experience on pipe diameters of 1400 mm or above
- Prior experience in power plant, steel plant, or industrial EPC pipeline projects (thermal, steel, refinery, or similar) is mandatory
- Hands-on exposure to NDT coordination (DPT, RT, UT), WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation, and coating/lining inspection

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% DPT, 25% RT and 75% UT joint testing is carried out and documented as per contract QA requirements
- Establish and monitor WPS/PQR at site; conduct/coordinate WPQ (welder qualification) for every welder before deployment
- Inspect and certify external wrap coating (4mm coal tar tape) and internal lining (500-micron epoxy) at all field joints before backfilling clearance




- Coordinate concrete mix design approval from NABL-accredited lab (3 cement brands, per contract requirement) and monitor batching plant compliance (load cell, auto water feeding, printing facility)
- Verify Manufacturer's Test Certificates (MTC) for all bought-out/FIM materials against IS standards and technical specifications
- Maintain day-to-day quality compliance records jointly signed with Employer's representative, as required for RA Bill certification
- Conduct hydro-test clearance inspection — verify mechanical clearance before hydrotesting each pipeline section
- Coordinate repeat NDT at contractor's cost in case of failures/rejections, and track rectification/re-testing closure
- Ensure raw material source approval (aggregate, sand, cement, structural steel) prior to procurement, as per approved vendor list
- Maintain field laboratory records and support random quality audits by the Employer

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
