Role: Mid Level Enterprise QA Tester

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Work Hours: 3:30am-11:30am ET

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid - Pune, India

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise QA Tester to support quality assurance testing across complex enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, and business platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing , along with hands-on SQL and data validation experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing .
- Validate complex business workflows across multiple enterprise applications.
- Test APIs, web services, system integrations, batch processes, and data exchanges .
- Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and business transactions.
- Analyze QA, UAT, and production issues and coordinate defect resolution.
- Perform defect tracking, triage, root-cause analysis, and validation of fixes.




- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Analyze testing results, quality metrics, and defect trends.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, test artifacts, and defect documentation.

Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices .
- Solid experience with functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing .
- Strong SQL and data validation experience.
- Hands-on experience testing enterprise applications, APIs, web services, and integrations .
- Experience with batch processing and data exchanges .
- Experience with test management/defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or similar .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Cucumber .
- Insurance industry experience preferred .
- Guidewire experience preferred but not required .
