Looking to jumpstart your career in nutraceutical manufacturing with real, hands-on industrial experience? We are looking for a motivated QC & Production Operations Intern eager to learn the complete lifecycle of botanical extract processing and capsule manufacturing.
Rather than sitting in an academic lab, you will work directly alongside our operations and quality teams to understand formulation blending, capsule filling technology, floor management, and industrial compliance from the ground up.
What You Will Learn & Experience
Extract Formulation & Blending:
Learn how powdered botanical and herbal extracts are formulated, calculated, and homogeneously blended at commercial scale.
Understand powder behaviour, bulk density, flowability, and moisture control (LOD) necessary for smooth capsule filling.
Capsule Machine Operations & In-Process QC:
Gain practical exposure to capsule filling and sealing machinery.
Learn how to conduct critical in-process quality checks: average weight variation, locking length, disintegration time, and visual defect sorting.
SOP Creation & Real-Time Quality Auditing:
Learn industrial documentation by assisting in drafting practical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), machine cleaning protocols, and line clearance checklists.
Shadow quality leads to observe how SOP compliance is audited on the active production floor.
Shop-Floor Management & Worker Leadership:
Build real-world managerial confidence by learning how to communicate instructions, guide line workers, and enforce hygiene, gowning, and cleanroom protocols.
Learn how production batches are scheduled, monitored, and cleared for packaging.
Regulatory & Documentation Standards:
Understand Positive Documentation Practices (GDP) by working on actual Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR) aligned with cGMP standards.
Who We Are Looking For
Education: B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Doctor of Medicine, or Allied Sciences (recent grads or final-year students).
Curiosity & Drive: A strong desire to understand the "why" and "how" behind industrial supplement production.
Communication Skills: Confident communicator comfortable interacting with and guiding shop-floor team members.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for hygiene, precision in measurements, and systematic record-keeping.
What You Get
Practical, on-the-ground manufacturing experience that sets your resume apart from standard laboratory roles.
1-on-1 mentorship from experienced operations and quality heads.
- An internship certificate and a strong pathway to a full-time QC/Production Officer role for outstanding performers.
