Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and programming/scripting, along with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, or software applications.
- Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.
- Analyze test results and provide clear reports on defects and testing status.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning and strategy.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where required.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and continuously improve testing processes.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of application issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Good programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud testing platforms.
- Experience with performance or security testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience in designing or maintaining automation frameworks.
