Job Profile: Purchase Manager
Industry: Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Third-Party (Contract) Manufacturing
Department: Purchase / Supply Chain
Reports to: Plant Head / General Manager – Operations
Location: Manufacturing Plant
Experience: 8–12 years in procurement, with at least 4–5 years in pharma, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing
Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / B.E. (Chemical) with MBA or PGDM in Materials / Supply Chain Management preferred
Job Purpose To plan, source, and procure raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items at the right quality, cost, and time, so that production for multiple third-party clients runs without interruption and complies with GMP and regulatory requirements under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and related rules.
