As part of our growing operations in the mobile phone parts and e-commerce sector, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager – Mobile Phone Parts & Vendor Management to manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier relationships, pricing, quality, and inventory planning for mobile phone spare parts and related products.

Role Description The Purchasing Manager – Mobile Phone Parts & Vendor Management will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing cycle for mobile phone spare parts and accessories. The role requires strong knowledge of mobile phone components, supplier markets, product quality, pricing, and inventory management.

The candidate will identify purchasing requirements based on sales trends, inventory levels, product demand, and business requirements. They will source products from domestic and international suppliers, negotiate pricing and payment terms, evaluate vendors, place and track purchase orders, and ensure products are received on time and meet required quality standards.

The Purchasing Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and international suppliers. The role will involve continuously identifying new suppliers and alternative sources to improve pricing, product availability, quality, and purchasing terms.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing of mobile phone spare parts, replacement parts, accessories, and related products .
- Source products from manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers in domestic and international markets.
- Identify new and reliable vendors based on price, quality, availability, reliability, warranty, and delivery performance .
- Negotiate product pricing, MOQ, payment terms, shipping terms, lead times, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
- Compare quotations from multiple suppliers and select the most cost-effective purchasing options.
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.




- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, pricing, delivery time, order accuracy, and after-sales support .
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders from placement through delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving and critical products.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify products requiring immediate or planned purchasing.
- Analyze sales history, demand, stock movement, and purchasing trends to support inventory forecasting.
- Avoid overstocking, stock-outs, and unnecessary purchasing through effective inventory planning.
- Coordinate with the quality/warehouse team to address defective, incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming products received from vendors.
- Handle supplier claims, replacements, credit notes, refunds, and warranty-related issues.
- Research market prices and monitor changes in mobile phone parts pricing.
- Maintain accurate supplier, product, pricing, and purchasing records in the ERP/procurement system.
- Prepare purchasing reports covering purchase volume, supplier performance, pricing trends, pending orders, stock requirements, and cost savings .
- Work closely with management, sales, warehouse, inventory, finance, and operations teams to understand purchasing requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs while maintaining product quality and availability.
- Develop alternative suppliers for critical products to reduce dependency on a single vendor.
- Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies, approval procedures, and budget requirements.

Product Knowledge The candidate should preferably have experience purchasing or sourcing products such as:
- Mobile phone LCD/display assemblies
- OLED/AMOLED displays
- Touch screens and display components
- Batteries
- Charging ports and flex cables
- Camera modules
- Motherboards and IC-related components
- Housing, back glass, frames, and covers
- Speakers, microphones, buttons,



and other small components
- Mobile phone repair parts and accessories
- Other smartphone and tablet replacement parts

Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management , preferably in the mobile phone parts, electronics, mobile accessories, or consumer electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of mobile phone spare parts and their different quality grades, models, specifications, and compatibility .
- Strong vendor sourcing and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Experience dealing with domestic as well as international suppliers is preferred.
- Experience in handling quotations, purchase orders, MOQ, lead times, payment terms, shipping, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock replenishment, and demand forecasting.
- Ability to analyze supplier quotations and compare price, quality, availability, and overall purchasing cost .
- Experience working with ERP, inventory, purchasing, or procurement systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills.
- Ability to identify new suppliers and build a reliable supplier network.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.
- Robust attention to detail, particularly regarding product specifications, quantities, pricing, and purchase orders .
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Finance, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in purchasing mobile phone parts or electronics will be a strong advantage.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in Surat .
