Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Panchkula for a Purchase Head and Supply Chain Management professional. The role involves overseeing end-to-end procurement of raw materials and components, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely availability of materials at competitive costs.

The position includes planning and optimizing inventory levels, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and monitoring supply chain performance metrics to reduce lead times and costs.

The Purchase

Head will be responsible for implementing purchasing policies, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and continuously improving sourcing and supply chain processes. Collaboration with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic sourcing initiatives is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in purchasing, vendor management, and strategic sourcing within manufacturing, metals, or related industries.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning, inventory management,



and logistics coordination, including familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management to achieve favorable terms and optimize procurement spend.
- Ability to analyze data, use MS Excel or similar tools, and develop reports and dashboards to track supply chain performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPM) are an advantage.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across production, finance, and logistics teams.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, process improvement, and implementation of best practices in purchasing and supply chain.
- Knowledge of metals or mining sector procurement specifics, local and international sourcing, and compliance standards is highly beneficial.
