Role Description The Punjabi Political Social Media & Creative Handler is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Mohali district, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves managing social media accounts for Punjabi political clients, including planning, drafting, and publishing content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and WhatsApp. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring trends in Punjab politics, researching local issues, and developing culturally relevant campaigns in Punjabi and English.

The individual will write posts, scripts, and captions, coordinate with design and video teams on creatives, and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.



Additional responsibilities include tracking engagement metrics, responding to audience interactions, supporting live event coverage (rallies, press conferences, announcements), and preparing regular performance reports for internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong content creation skills, including social media copywriting, caption writing, and basic scriptwriting for political and public-interest topics.
- Fluency in Punjabi (written and spoken) and good command of English, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
- Experience in social media management, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and using social media tools or dashboards.
- Understanding of Punjabi political landscape, current affairs, and regional cultural nuances to create contextually accurate and respectful content.
- Basic familiarity with creative collaboration, working alongside graphic designers and video editors to brief and review visual content.
- Comfort with analytics and reporting, including tracking reach, engagement, and growth, and translating insights into practical content improvements.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the Mohali district, manage deadlines, and coordinate with team members and clients in fast-paced campaign environments.
- Prior experience in political social media, public relations, or digital marketing is an advantage; a relevant degree or diploma in communications, media, political science, or a related field is preferred.
