About the Role
Hope Prosthetics & Orthotics Rehab Centre, Kochi, is looking for a passionate and skilled Prosthetist & Orthotist to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves assessing patients and providing appropriate prosthetic and orthotic solutions to improve mobility, functionality, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and understand their prosthetic and orthotic requirements.
- Perform clinical evaluation and functional assessment.
- Design, fit, and provide appropriate prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Take measurements, casts/scans, and necessary clinical inputs for device fabrication.
- Conduct fitting, alignment, adjustment, and follow-up of devices.
- Monitor patient progress and make modifications where required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of devices.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists,
rehabilitation professionals, doctors, and other members of the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and professional ethics.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification in Prosthetics & Orthotics / Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology from a recognised institution.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Positive clinical assessment and patient-handling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Passion for improving patient mobility and quality of life.
