We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project & Operations Manager to lead project execution, coordinate teams, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure the successful delivery of organizational initiatives.
Job Summary The Project & Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring projects while ensuring smooth day-to-day operational activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, project management, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and activity schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams, field staff, community members, institutions, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within timelines.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities related to ongoing projects.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and project review meetings.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, records, and databases.
- Prepare regular project progress and operational reports for management.
- Monitor project resources, requirements, logistics, and operational needs.
- Coordinate events, workshops, campaigns, field activities, and community programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local institutions, organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication between management, project teams, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project quality and ensure activities are implemented according to organizational objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of new projects and social innovation initiatives.
- Track project KPIs, deliverables, outcomes, and timelines.
- Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and project execution.
- Ensure proper follow-up on pending tasks, commitments, and stakeholder requirements.
Team Management
- Lead and coordinate project and operational teams.
- Set transparent responsibilities and expectations for team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Support team members in resolving operational challenges.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional conduct.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

Educational Qualification Mandatory: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as:
- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- MA / MSc in Development Studies
- MA in Social Work
- MA in Sociology
- MA in Rural Development
- MA in Community Development
- Master’s in Public Administration
- Master’s in Development Management
- MBA / Master’s in Project Management or Operations Management
- Or any other relevant postgraduate qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Management.
Candidates with a postgraduate qualification and relevant experience in project management, operations, social development, community development, NGO/development-sector activities, or field operations will be preferred. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
