Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Carbon Project Manager to lead carbon projects from feasibility and development through validation, verification, registration, and credit issuance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end development of carbon projects

- Evaluate project feasibility, baseline, additionality, and carbon potential

- Prepare and review PDDs and project documentation

- Coordinate with project developers, consultants, VVBs, and carbon standards

- Manage MRV, validation, verification, and issuance processes

- Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder requirements

- Stay updated on carbon-market standards, methodologies, and regulations

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability,



Climate Change, Engineering, Agriculture, Forestry, Economics, or a related field

- 3–7 years of experience in carbon markets, carbon projects, ESG, or sustainability

- Strong knowledge of

Verra VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, CDM

, or similar standards

- Understanding of MRV, additionality, baseline, permanence, and carbon-credit methodologies

- Strong project-management, analytical, and communication skills

- Good proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

- Ability to work independently in a quick-paced startup environment
