Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Estimation and Billing Engineer (MEP), based in the Pune Division. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for MEP works, including quantities, rates, and BOQ items, in line with project drawings and specifications. The engineer will handle project billing, coordinate with site teams and clients to validate work done, and update billing systems and documentation.

Daily responsibilities include quantity surveying, rate analysis, verification of contractor bills, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.



The role also requires maintaining records, supporting budget control, and collaborating with project managers to monitor cost variances and improve financial efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for MEP projects.
- Proficiency in Billing Systems and project billing processes, including verification and documentation.
- Sound Analytical Skills for cost estimation, data validation, and performance tracking.
- Experience in Rate Analysis and cost comparison for materials, labor, and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of MEP construction standards, safety norms, and relevant codes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Competence in MS Excel and relevant estimation or ERP tools.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with site teams, vendors, and clients.
