About Aikarthya Foundation
Aikarthya Foundation is a Section 8 nonprofit organisation working to strengthen the education ecosystem by developing teachers and leaders, strengthening schools, supporting students, and creating opportunities for young people and communities.
We primarily work with low-resource and underserved school communities, where teachers and schools often have limited access to continuous professional development, instructional support and opportunities for innovation.
We believe that meaningful educational change cannot come through isolated interventions. Strong outcomes emerge when students, teachers, school leaders and communities are strengthened together. Our approach combines practical learning, continuous support, reflection, evidence and implementation to build capabilities that last.
About SkillUp
SkillUp is a classroom-based, teacher development programme designed to improve what actually happens inside classrooms.
The programme focuses on strengthening classroom practice, improving student engagement and building stronger foundational learning.
Role Overview The Program Facilitator plays a critical role in supporting teachers to strengthen their classroom practice across our partner schools.
This role goes beyond delivering training sessions.
As a Program Facilitator, you will spend significant time in schools—facilitating learning sessions, observing classrooms, speaking with teachers, providing feedback, understanding the realities teachers work within, and supporting them to translate learning into practice.
The role requires someone who can build trusting and respectful relationships with teachers, while also being able to challenge their thinking and practice when required.
You will work closely with teachers, school leaders and the Aikarthya team to understand what is happening on the ground, identify what is working and what is not, and continuously look for ways to improve teacher and student outcomes.
This is a people-facing, field-intensive and ownership-driven role for someone who believes that teachers can grow with the right support and that meaningful change takes time, consistency and reflection.
